Reading University

What Every Parent Needs to Know

DAILY  ATTENDANCE   IS   CRITICAL TO SUCCESS

Reading University is a full 3 week program - all students must attend all days. Please book your holiday dates so that they do not conflict with the Reading University schedule so that your child will receive full program benefits.

TRANSPORTATION:

If you wish to have your child use the free bus transportation to RU,  call FIRST STUDENT BUSES at 780.532.3545 as soon as possible to make arrangements. The bus company will then make a pickup and drop-off schedule  and THEY WILL CONTACT YOU on June 28th.

PARENT DROP-OFF & PICK-UP AT GPRC

The student pickup and drop-off spot at the College is in the Cafeteria.  For everyone’s safety caregivers must come down to the cafeteria to pick up children at the end of the day. If you are having someone other than a parent pick cup your child, please advise us and ask them to have ID available.

LUNCH AND SNACKS:

Daily lunches and snacks will be provided for the children. If your child has special dietary requirements, then we ask that you send along a packed lunch to suit his/her needs.

DAILY SCHEDULE:

Classes start at 9:00 am and end at 3:00 pm.
Students will be in small groups and will travel with their groups to 10 different classes each day.
SUPPLIES:
Backpacks and water bottles will be provided as will all supplies needed for the program.
